They say the devil is in the details, and watching my mum design labels for her room sprays proved it! Let me tell you all about her online design adventure while I sit back with a cup of tea.
The Great Design Expedition
So, Mum thought designing labels would be a doddle. She hopped online with high hopes and big plans, envisioning labels that were more fabulous than the Great British Bake Off finals. I mean, she was really going for it—bright colors, fancy fonts, all the bells and whistles. It was like she was trying to throw the biggest label party of the century.
But here’s the funny bit: the more she added, the messier things got. Her designs started to look like they’d been through the washing machine with a load of confetti. I watched as she clicked away, and I couldn’t help but chuckle as each design became more of a digital fireworks display. It was like she was trying to turn our room sprays into the latest trend on the high street with a bit too much flair!
Eventually, she realised that her designs were a bit too loud and decided it was time to tone it down a notch. Honestly, I was relieved!
The Art of Simplicity
After countless designs and a few “what was I thinking” moments, Mum decided to strip things back. She went with such a simple design—a clean label with clear text and a touch of color. It’s like she traded in a flashy sports car for a sleek, reliable ride. Sometimes, simplicity really is the way to go, and Mum’s labels are now the epitome of the little black dress in the world of room sprays.
Will It Change? Fingers Crossed!
With her newfound love for minimalism, Mum sent the labels off to the printers. Now we’re all anxiously waiting for them to arrive. Will she love them when they’re printed, or will she have second thoughts? Knowing my mum, anything is possible! Let’s just hope she doesn’t decide to redesign them again before launch day.
Looking Forward
For now, Mum’s pretty happy with her labels, but like the unpredictable British weather, you never know when she might change her mind. Whether the labels stay simple or get another makeover, I’m sure they’ll look good.
